India will chair the 9th Session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts (IGE) on Consumer Protection Law and Policy, organized by the United Nations Trade and Development (UNCTAD), from 6–8 July 2026 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. This marks an important leadership role for India in shaping global consumer protection policies.
