Munitions India Limited (MIL) has signed an MoU with Hyderabad-based Drogo Aerospace to collaborate on the development and integration of indigenous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and loitering munition systems.
Under the partnership, Drogo Aerospace will contribute its expertise in UAV design, development and manufacturing, while MIL will provide its capabilities in warheads, explosives, payload filling, fuzing and ammunition systems. The companies will also work together on UAV–munition integration, testing, safety evaluation and field trials.
The collaboration is aimed at strengthening India’s indigenous defense-manufacturing ecosystem, particularly in the growing areas of unmanned and precision defense systems, while supporting the country’s broader push towards self-reliance in defense technology and production.
