Indian javelin star Neeraj Chopra finished second at the Lausanne Diamond League with a season-best throw of 88.05 metres. He came extremely close to the top spot, missing out by just 9 centimeters to Sri Lanka’s Rumesh Tharanga Pathirage, who won with 88.14m. The result was an encouraging performance for Chopra after a challenging start to the season. His 88.05m effort showed that he was returning to his best form and building momentum ahead of upcoming major competitions.
