The artificial intelligence industry has just witnessed another massive deal — and this time, NVIDIA is going far beyond its traditional business of supplying the chips that power AI. NVIDIA has agreed to acquire Hugging Face for $12.93 billion, in one of the company’s biggest acquisitions and a major move into the software, models and developer ecosystem surrounding artificial intelligence.
