India and Morocco held their first Joint Defense Committee meeting in New Delhi on 8 September 2026 to discuss ways to expand defense cooperation. The two countries explored collaboration in military training, education, exercises, peacekeeping, military medicine, cyber defense, and defense industries. They also agreed to explore opportunities in joint production, technology cooperation and maintenance. The meeting builds on the defense cooperation MoU the two countries signed in 2025.
