Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan inaugurated MALHAR 2026, a youth-focused, monsoon-themed celebration of Indian classical music, in New Delhi. Organised by Antar Hriday Connect, the event seeks to bring India’s rich classical music traditions closer to the younger generation and encourage greater appreciation of the country’s cultural heritage. The initiative uses music as a way to connect young people with India’s cultural roots, while providing a platform to celebrate the diversity and richness of Indian classical traditions. During the event, the Vice President also emphasised the role of young people in preserving and carrying forward India’s cultural heritage.
