Adobe has appointed Anil Chakravarthy as its next President and Chief Executive Officer, marking a major leadership transition at the global software company. Chakravarthy will take charge on December 1, 2026, and will also join Adobe’s Board of Directors.
He will succeed Shantanu Narayen, who has served as Adobe’s CEO for 18 years. Narayen will move into the role of Executive Chair and will work closely with Chakravarthy to support a smooth leadership transition and Adobe’s ongoing transformation.
