Dehra in Himachal Pradesh is set to get the state’s first ozone-based water treatment project, introducing ozone technology into the process of making water safer and cleaner. The project is aimed at improving water quality by using ozone for disinfection and treatment, reducing the reliance on conventional chemical-based treatment methods. The initiative is expected to strengthen the region’s water treatment infrastructure and provide a more advanced approach to water purification. As Himachal Pradesh’s first project of its kind, it also marks a step towards adopting newer water-treatment technologies in the state.
