Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh is set to become the home of India’s first dedicated Quantum and Artificial Intelligence University campus. The project is being developed by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The Andhra Pradesh government has approved the project with an estimated investment of ₹730.7 crore over five years. The proposed campus will be spread across 8.5 acres and is planned to become a major center for education, research, innovation and skill development in emerging technologies.
