Indian kabaddi star Pawan Sehrawat was named India’s male flag-bearer for the 2026 Asian Games opening ceremony in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, alongside shooter Manu Bhaker. He replaced shot-putter Tajinderpal Singh Toor due to a technical issue involving his ceremonial kit. A gold medallist at the 2022 Asian Games, Sehrawat led the Indian contingent during the Parade of Nations on 19 September 2026, bringing pride to Indian kabaddi on the continental stage.
