India’s Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign, observed from 17 September to 17 October, aims to promote cleanliness through nationwide public participation. The campaign focuses on community-led cleanliness drives, improved sanitation, waste segregation, recycling and responsible waste management. By encouraging citizens, educational institutions and local communities to take an active role, the initiative seeks to strengthen the vision of a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable India under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
