The Karnataka government has approved its new Aerospace and Defense Policy 2026–2031 to strengthen the state's position as India's leading aerospace manufacturing hub. The policy aims to attract fresh investments, boost aircraft and defense production, promote innovation, and create thousands of skilled jobs by supporting industries, startups, MSMEs, and research institutions over the next five years.
