The Indian Air Force (IAF) hosted the second edition of Exercise Tarang Shakti 2026 at Air Force Station Jodhpur, Rajasthan, from September 26 to October 12, under the theme “Power in Partnership.” The multinational exercise brought together air forces from seven countries—Australia, the United States, France, Germany, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates—while 32 other nations participated as observers. The exercise focused on joint air operations, tactical training, sharing operational expertise and improving coordination among participating forces. A key highlight was the participation of the US F-35 Lightning II stealth fighter in an exercise with the IAF for the first time. The event also showcased India’s indigenous aircraft, including the Tejas, and strengthened international defense cooperation.
